Glass Shower Door If Wall Not Level

With the tub being out of level the doors do not slide properly they barely slide at all.

The new doors swing both in and out. If the enclosure area is new do not take any measurements until the shower is complete and the walls are finished. The on off handle for the shower was moved to the entry area wall and the shower head is on the opposite wall. Stick a pencil through the jamb s screw holes to mark the wall.

Without moving the track use a 4 foot level to adjust the jamb until it s plumb. When i place the jamb on the wall i get as much as a 3 8 inch gap between jamb and wall. I am trying to install a framed shower door. Any ideas on how i can get this door installed.

I didn t put a door at all and only small amount of water drops splash out. Lower on the drain side. Fixing it this way lets you install and set up the shower door so that it opens and closes like normal. The tub has sort of ridge that runs along the top of the tub.

On the side of the shower opening that will support the door hold a jamb piece against the wall so that its lower end fits into the base track.
