Glass roofs are beneficial in internal rooms where external windows are far away or too small to bring enough light. They are also useful if side windows are restricted by neighbouring properties. A glass roof for the patio makes the outdoor space useable all year round. While overheating is certainly a possibility as is the noise of the rain the end result is truly spectacular.

We used heat soaked toughened to allow for wind pressure. We have fabricated them for pool enclosures kitchens sitting rooms libraries stairwells and anywhere that natural light may enhance the aesthetic of your home or business. Glass roofs are a fantastic idea as they make the house look airy and bigger than it actually is. We use dow corning silicone to seal all structural joints.

This has been tested and passed at 2000 pascals for wind and rain. Structural glass can be utilised in roofing areas to create a fully glazed roof to any space or room. Designing the house so it account for issues like these would help tremendously. In addition it provides protection from sun rain and wind.

All glass used in our frameless roofs is solar reflective self clean and non stick. Especially useful in internal rooms where external windows are far away or small and rear extensions where side windows may be restricted due to neighbouring properties.
